RECIPE FOR APRIL
BLUEBERRY RUM FIZZ
1 oz Blu Blueberry Dessert Wine
1 oz lemon juice
2 oz white rum
1 tsp sugar
Club Soda to top off
Add rum, Blu Blueberry Dessert Wine, sugar, and lemon juice to a shaker. Add ice. Shake until cold. Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice. Pour into glass and top off with club soda. Enjoy!
Makes 1 cocktail
Garnish with fresh blueberries if desired.

Framboise Raspberry Dessert Wine
It’s the very essence of raspberries. We use only fresh-pressed berries raised on our own farm to create a richly red cordial with impeccable fruit character, and make it with the traditional technique perfected by vintners of fine Port wines. This is a lovely sipping wine –sip it chilled as a summer-y aperitif with light hors d’oeuvres, after dinner with cheese, or with all manner of desserts - especially dark chocolate ones. Chefs tell us they use it in Raspberry Vinaigrette, marinades, or sauces for chicken, duck, squab or cheesecake.

For over 100 years, the temperate climate of our northwest corner of the U.S. has allowed for cultivation of some of the finest hazelnuts on earth. We crush and lightly roast the nuts, giving them rich flavor and savory aroma before we ferment them into this premium wine. Tops for on the rocks or over French Vanilla ice cream. Cassis Black Currant Port Wine
This fortified Port-styled wine captures the rich flavor of our fresh black currants. Sweet, dark and remarkably tart, this wine has a delightfully tangy flavor heightened by a little tannin. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, blue veined cheeses, game patés, or a good cigar! Cassis is a great baseline for a Kir when combined with Prosecco or sparkling white wine, and its entrancing deep ruby color makes spritzers and coolers festive and special. Combine in equal parts with our hazelnut dessert wine, Oro, for a “playful” peanut butter and jelly wine cocktail!
